Hedgie, thought formed like the others, was much more difficult to handle and glazed due to the spikes (each was hand formed and inserted on a metal rod and then inserted into the sculpture) and having no base to rest on. A special stand was made to hold him through the firing. Though he looks nice as is, I think that he will go through another firing in the future.
